Job Purpose

The role of a functional consultant will cover the following core areas:

Chargeable activity

Principally your role will be within project delivery (including development, project management resource etc), working on new projects within our existing client base and net new business. Your key focus will be the delivery of Dynamics Business Central, also included may be 3rd party technologies such as TRIMIT, Jet, Continia (OCR document management) etc. for which we will provide training.

Support - Extension to support 

To be available as an extension to support should they need to access functional/technical support to our client base.  

Product development/pre-sales 

In addition to the latest versions of Business Central you will have the opportunity to gain knowledge around our IP in three key verticals: Pub Companies and Breweries, Fashion, and Furniture. You will work alongside our sales department to support business growth through pre-sales activity and assist with tender documents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver chargeable consultancy within your field of expertise
  • Provide product management and direction for the OD IP modules
  • To assist support with calls as required

General Skills & Competencies

  • In depth understanding of Microsoft NAV / Business Central
  • Knowledge of Advanced Warehousing or Finance desirable
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office suite – in particular Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Jet and other reporting tools is desirable
  • Comfortable dealing with client over the phone and face to face
