Meet the team - Emily Ougan, Junior Developer

Emily is a Junior Developer here at MADIC dynamics and has over 5 years experience in Dynamics NAV and 365 Business Central. Having joined OD in Spring 2021, she is a core member of the team working from Swindon.

What do you do in your role?

I spend most of my time actioning customer requests, such as developing a new process for them or fixing issues in BC extensions. I also assist the Help Desk with support calls. When things aren't quite what they should be, I like investigating the problem and fixing it - it's very satisfying!

What do you like about Ocean Dynamics?

Ocean is a great place to work because there are always opportunities to pick up work that interests and challenges you. I've particularly enjoyed working on projects involving Tasklet recently.

How did you get into the industry?

Like many people, I fell in! I worked on a support desk with another MS partner. I had an interest in economics and knew I wanted to do computing - so becoming a developer seemed like a good fit. I would definitely recommend this industry to others, BC is always evolving, which is one of the things I like about it.

What do you do outside of work?

I spend quite a lot of time walking Winston, my Miniature Dachshund.
